Pay creators up front.

Release it when you approve the work. Creators want to know they'll be paid. You want to know you'll get what you paid for. A protected deal does both: the payment is secured before work starts and released only on approval.

Pay only for work you receive

Your payment is held until you approve the content, or the review period you agreed to ends. If it isn't delivered on time, you can cancel for a refund; if it isn't as agreed, open a dispute and we review it.

No account, no setup

Open the link the creator sends, read the terms and pay. There is nothing to install and no subscription.

Clear terms, kept on record

Deliverables, price, delivery time, revisions and review period are fixed when the creator sends the deal, and we keep a record of what you both accepted.

Pay from almost anywhere

Card or bank transfer through Stripe, with a Stripe receipt. Most cards can pay in your local currency at checkout.

How a protected deal works for you

  1. 01

    Get the deal link

The creator sends it by email or in a DM. It shows what they will deliver, the price and the review period.

  2. 02

    Pay securely

You pay the creator's price plus a 4% service fee, by card or bank transfer. The creator is told the funds are secured and starts work.

  3. 03

    Review what you get

Watch the videos and open the links on the deal page, and download any files. Message the creator on the deal if you have questions.

  4. 04

    Approve, or ask for changes

Approve to release the payment, request changes if the deal includes revisions, or report a problem. Each needs a one-time code sent to your email.

Protected on your side too

  • A forwarded link can't release money

Approving, asking for changes or disputing needs a code sent to the email the deal was sent to.

  • Review before anything is released

You have the full review period to check the work. We remind you before it ends.

  • Refunds if it goes wrong

If a deal is cancelled or a dispute goes your way before release, you get your payment back minus Stripe's processing fee.

  • A neutral decision

Disputes are decided on what the deal says was agreed and what was delivered, not on taste.

Questions from brands

How do I know the creator is who they say they are?

Creators can verify the accounts they post from by showing a one-time code on that account. Verified accounts appear with a badge on the deal page, next to how many deals the creator has completed here. If an account you expect isn't verified, ask the creator to verify it before you pay.

Why pay through HotInfluencer instead of paying the creator directly?

Because the money only reaches the creator once you approve the work, or the review period ends. If the content isn't delivered as agreed, you can dispute it while we still hold the payment.

What does it cost?

A 4% service fee on top of the creator's price, shown before you pay. Some creators cover all fees, so you pay exactly their price. There is no subscription.

How can I pay?

By card or bank transfer through Stripe. Larger deals may be bank transfer only. With a bank transfer, the deal starts once the full amount arrives, usually in 1 to 3 business days.

Can I approve the content before it goes live?

Yes, if the deal includes draft approval. The creator sends you a draft first and posts only once you approve it. Asking for changes to a draft uses one of the change requests included in the deal.

What if the creator doesn't deliver?

Every deal has a delivery time, counted from when you pay. If it passes with nothing delivered, you can give more time or cancel. When you cancel, the creator has 2 days to deliver or object; otherwise you're refunded automatically, minus Stripe's processing fee. If they object, we review the deal and decide.

What if I don't respond after the creator delivers?

The deal tells you how many days you have to review. We email you when the work arrives, with 3 days left, and on the last day. If you don't approve, ask for changes or open a dispute by then, the work is approved automatically.

Can I get a refund?

Before the payment is released, if the creator agrees to cancel or a dispute is decided in your favour. Stripe doesn't return its processing fee, so that part is deducted. Once the payment is released it can't be refunded through HotInfluencer.

Do I need to sign up?

No. The link identifies the deal and the one-time code confirms it's you. You get a receipt from Stripe for your records.
